Gloomy Palaver [General]

Prerequisite: Ability to cast Voice of Shadow, Cha 15, Intimidate 5 ranks

Benefit: The character can use the Gloomy Palaver to bring loathing and fear to others that hear them speak. This speech is so subtle that opponents do not notice because it blends in with their own voice. Gloomy Palaver causes a living creature within listening distance (30 feet) to become panicked for 1d6 rounds unless it succeeds on a Will save. If cornered, a panicked creature begins cowering. If the Will save succeeds, the creature is shaken for 1 round (Like Fear Spell). Subjects that are deaf or in noisy environments are not effected.

Special: The character gains a +2 circumstance bonus on saving throws made when someone uses the Gloomy Palaver against him or her.
